WHAT A GAME!
The Bruins made amends for their horrific loss against the Kings on Tuesday with a fighty, shooty, QUOTA scorefest. Perfect Patrice was 2/3 of the way to a Gordie Howe Hat Trick. Rinaldo and Marchand also played “punchyface” with Jets players. Tuukka Rask made lots of saves. Brett “Dog Years” Connolly had 3 assists! I was so excited that I couldn’t pick just one picture to embed!
Anyway, how are you on this beautiful post-Bruins-win morning?
Are you ready for the grand opening this weekend?
What’s on tap?
Maybe Stamkos isn’t signing in Boltsville so he can avenge Marty St. Louis’ initial snub in the 2014 Olympics by Yzerman.
So, this is awesome.

That guy is my hero.
Ummm… I think I have your stapler
Its the red Swingline
So I’m sure you’ve seen on Twitter people uploading pictures of hockey players to what-dog.net

Have fun, people!
I have not seen this, but it’s most definitely weird.
I apparently look like a German Shepherd. “Must be kept busy, intense, highly intelligent.”
I used Julios pic and it said he’s a Staffie. Six of one, half dozen of another. Of me, I’m a Dachsund or an Afghan, who knows?
A friend of mine with pretty short hair got an Afghan, too, and I thought that was hilarious.
Totes scientific.
Hey Muse, where’s your hoodie? I want to google map random post offices.
Yes, this is information we need to know.
It wa in Chambers, Arizona, but when you google the post office, it’s either hanging out at a Mobil station/Days Inn or hiding in some sagebrush or something. It’s left Chambers, AZ now, I’m pretty sure, as it checked in (maybe for a single, non-smoking room facing the pool) overnight, but there really is nothing doing it seems, in Chambers.
I’m rather disappointed.
It’s 47 degrees and sunny in Jones, OK.
So, I see like three houses, and almost nothing else. Who would stay in the Chambers Days Inn?
Also, Wikipedia specifically says they have a post office. I don’t believe it for one second. I bet if you look carefully at Google’s street view, there’s some Arizonan wearing your hoodie.
Also, it seems like it’s home to the most boring stretch of route 66 possible.
Petrified Forest National Park and the Zuni reservation seem pretty cool!
I’m intrigued by “Pigeon Spring Number Two”.
How many in the series?!?
Ooh! I’ll have to find out. Maybe there are prequels, too!
I’ve been at that park. It is cool. Oddly enough, there was a German motorcycle club visiting there at the time.
Holbrook is also close to meteor crater.
Cool!
And I was thinking that maybe the gas station/hotel had a “post office” inside it, maybe? Yeah. Kinda sketchy. Hmmmm.
The first two streets off the highway are frontage roads. Yikes.
Maybe the FedEx checkpoint is in an underground bunker.
It would save on air conditioning costs.
I cannot wait for the post office roadtrip we’re planning.
Damn, you know what, I forgot about Martinsville, IL, where it stopped in between Hagerstown and Jones. I am SO SORRY for this omission.
Aw, that\’s quaint.
They have quite the bustling downtown area as well! The building on the left intrigues me, for some reason.

That building is wickid weeid.
This city reminds me of Lincoln Logs.
It’s in the Land of Lincoln, appropriately enough.
Good point!
God, we are such dorks.
I\’m very interested in Darcie\’s Scrapbooks & Moreâ„¢.
specifically wondering what the “& more” part consists of.
“How do you know so much about desert-area post offices?”
“I read a hockey blog.”
We are genuinely a ridiculous people, aren’t we?
I love it though!
That’s why we get along so well. Also, why we’re fun.
We ARE fun, damn it!
It looks like an afterthought or maybe the rest of it was planned after a terrible fire.
there’s a building that resembles it on the other side of the street, as well
I love the generic “city hall” and “police.”
I like how city hall looks like it’s one room and used to be a shoe store.
I still love “Town of Jones City”
Is that what it’s called? I just caught this.
I’ve seen it listed as Jones and Jones City and then maybe meaning “Town of Jones’ City Hall” so I think it’s going through an identity crisis.
Methinks the mayor, town clerk, and police chief are all the same person.
How ominous… and unoriginal, and not fitting.
Apparently this area has the name \”National Mall\” according to Google.
We are missing a huge swath of information there. I mean, you’re lucky you had a first hand account of the excitement that is Hagerstown, MD.
Also you know, I find it odd that it’s already in Arizona but will take another 3 days to get to my place, apparently, but Chambers AZ, could very well be the last post office it checks into before heading to the one in my neighborhood.
Sad times.
So, who’s going to be the next person to order something and have it sent by Ground Delivery?
I had one of those Denna Laing hats on order from the Pro Shop. It took a week for them to fulfil the order. When I checked the Fedex web site the next day, they hadn’t heard of it. A few days later, It arrived an the facility 2 towns away at 7 am. When I checked the delivery time, it was going to be 2 days later by 8pm.
‘cuz screw it, we didn’t promise to get it to you any more quickly than that.
In this post-Amazon era, I’ve grown unused to this sort of silliness.
I know, right? Amazon has completely spoiled us.
LeBrun’s Pacific Division Deadline chatter…:
http://espn.go.com/nhl/story/_/id/14763193/nhl-pacific-division-buyers-sellers-trade-deadline
Thoughts on any of these guys?
Boedker is a UFA after this year, too? Am I reading that right?
Yup. And he\’s only making $3.75m now.
http://www.spotrac.com/nhl/arizona-coyotes/mikkel-boedker/
Hmmmmm….I mean, not for us, but that could be really interesting.
Also, is that enough m’s there? “Hm?” to me is a questioning sound while “Hmmmmm” to me denotes thinking. Since it’s no big deal but still weird to you.
Ha ha!
Hey, that was VA’s opinion, I was simply an agreeing party!
How is that any different from actually saying it?
I think you’re putting too fine a point on it. I have never seen it spelled other than hmm.
Also, questioning “Hmm?” and thinking “hmm”. That’s the difference.
This is going to be one boring trade deadline day huh
So plenty of room to sign Stamkos.
I love this gif.
Me too. Gets me every time.
You should have seen Twitter when they got rid of Phaneuf. It was hilarious.
So what happens when they don’t get Stamkos?
I have very little to say today. Sigh.
Dammit. This is an unordered list.
Did I forget about bullet points?

Why, I invented bullet points!
This is a crisis. Oh, the humanity!
Vermont Weather Update: Currently 0 degrees. Tomorrow 3 degrees. Sunday 0 degrees.
woof. No thank you
That’s not a lot of degrees.

I would like more degrees please. Some please send more degrees.
Mother Nature says

Oh Benadryl Cucumberpatch
Good Morning
Early work day for me today as I’ve got a Dr.s appointment at 1:15 so hopefully I can get working on fixing my depression. First step is admitting right?
Third period was awesome last night & two things. It was good they didn’t play down to the jets + get a dominating win.
coffee on tap for a little while longer
Good luck to you!
Thanks
I know I’ll be alright. Means a lot to me that I can open up about stuff like that with you all.
We all have each others backs here.
^ truth
Good luck!
Hey, best of luck and health to you! Dunno how far into the diagnosis you are, but it might be that depression is symptomatic of a different issue. I got myself checked out several years ago because I thought I was suffering from depression. I was instead diagnosed with ADHD, and the depressive symptoms I had were the result of problems created by ADHD.
Good luck!
It absolutely is! Also you might be aware of this already but it’ll take time for the meds to kick in and even then you may have to adjust for side effects. When I first started on them I had bad nausea at first, then I’d be up at 4 a.m. no matter what time I went to bed and then I felt better but my sex drive went out the window. Then I got put on something else entirely which worked great for a few years until it didn’t so I got put on an additional booster. Sorry for any TMI but I just wanted to let you know that it might still take some time to get the right medicine working for you in the right combination but if you’ve been feeling down a lot lately, I’m glad you’re taking this really important step to helping yourself out. <3
Yeah, I don’t expect it to happen right away, but just knowing that I’m doing something about it is a positive change for me.
Kirk Luedeke’s article on Zach Senyshyn:
http://scoutingpost.com/2016/02/12/senyshyn-continues-to-march-ahead/
#idiotsavantGM
Oh man. I really, REALLY like Senyshyn. Part of that is because I felt the need to defend him a lot last summer, and another part of it is because he scored twenty six goals as a rookie on the fourth line, with no special teams team. That’s a lot.
