Good morning, everyone! The 2016 World Cup of Hockey initial rosters were announced. The first 16 players for each team were announced, with the remaining 7 to be announced by July 1. From the Bruins, Loui Eriksson will play for Sweden, the Davids will play for the Czech Republic, Tuukka for Finland, Chara and Seidenberg for the Team Europe amalgamation, and Patrice Bergeron will perfectly represent Team Canada.

Well, I had it all set up, now it’s different. I don’t know why I’m not comfortable throwing a picture in the media library on my own site but I am.
My final straws were “Fire Claude, Bench Rask, Waive Killer” posting a half-dozen or more dumpster-fire gifs all over articles about the trade deadline moves & some lurker coming out of the woodwork to be a douche, calling Sidney Crosby “Cindy”. It seems that a lot of the new posters are assholes like that.

I enjoy the dark color schemes for sports jerseys, so I rather like them. The A on the crest is a little too much like an oil derrick, though.
The Team Europe one is too generic & corporate.
The Europe one feels like an afterthought. “Oh shit, we still have one more we have to do and the deadline is in five minutes.”
I really enjoy the North America color schemes…the lettering seems a little…amateurish…but i like it
I like the North America one a bit, actually, and I’m not ashamed.
That said, the Europe one looks like the Whalers and the Canucks alt logos had a baby that fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.
