Around the Rink: Many Happy Returns

Around the Rink will be posted Tuesdays and Fridays to keep you informed of what’s happening in the hockey world.

  • Coyotes’ Captain Shane Doan has a solution to tanking. What do you think?
  • Could Jonathan Drouin benefit from Steven Stamkos’ injury?

  • Rumor has it Pavel Datsyuk could return to Mother Russia once the Red Wings are done.
  • Already worried about your fantasy team for next year? Here’s a way-too-early fantasy hockey preview.

  • Divver says quit worrying:

  • PHT’s Mike Halford had a few things to say about hockey’s hallowed rinks.
  • BC goaltender Thatcher Demko is making his case for the Hobey Baker.

  • What’s behind Roberto Luongo’s longevity? Pierre LeBrun takes a good look.
  • Blackhawks netminder Corey Crawford should be returning by the start of the playoffs.

  • More on John Scott’s return to the NHL (if you consider the Habs and NHL team) here.
  • USA and Canada will battle for the gold tonight at the Women’s World Championship.

Have the lightning called anyone up in place of the Stamkos situation? Drouin could benefit for sure, but man i’d be worried with him.

The NHL losing Datsyuk would be bad. No matter how you look at it

Apparently the Drouin situation stemmed from his own parents and as of late, Drouin’s been playing well and not been any kind of whiny baby since talking with Yzerman not too long ago.
