Morning Food Association, October 21

Good morning readers and we’re back on this lovely Friday with your favorite segment, Morning food Association!

Lets do a recap here as we’ve now done four players.
Patrice Bergeron: Mac and Cheese
Brad Marchand: Buffalo Chicken
David Pastrnak: Lasagna
Kevan Miller: Crab Cakes.

Now that we’re all caught up, today’s MFA player is David Krejci! I really wrangled with this one, so I decided to go ethnic here and connect our magician to Tomato Soup. Wait what? Lets go to the wikipedia machine:

In Czech cuisine, thick soups and many kinds of sauces, both based on stewed or cooked vegetables and meats, often with cream, as well as baked meats with natural sauces, are popular dishes

Tomato soup is smooth and can be served in multiple ways, just like Krejci can be deployed in multiple situations. Krejci has some of the slickest hands and skates with ease, making this pairing an obvious choice. Now the real question is who’s his grilled cheese ;-)?

For those who like to make their own soups, this recipe from the NY times sounds pretty delicious to me.

Happy Friday everyone!

I can forgive you if you don't like Rask. I can't forgive you if you think he's garbage. You're wrong
