After dropping all three games last week, the Bruins came up with a win yesterday against the Tampa Bay Lightning, 4-1. It would have been great to see Tuukka get another shutout but you can’t get much better than only allowing one goal.
That In-Between Period was where the action was at with goals from Dominic Moore,
Torey Krug Patrice Bergeron David Backes, and Jimmy Hayes. JIMMY HAYES! Yes, it was the first point of the season (20 games played) and his first goal in 35 games. That’s a long time. He even threw the monkey off his back.

However, this win was not all smooth skating. John-Michael Liles left the first period with an upper body injury and didn’t return. Now, the Bruins are down two defensemen for some period of time. It’s time for Kevan to rise up and shine.
How about that fourth line? Yesterday it scored 2 goals. Moore is having a great season so far with 6. Who would think we’d be interested in what they’re doing?
Are we doing Secret Santa this year? Some of us did it last year and it was fun. Do we want to do it again?
