He looks good in gold, friends…
Bleacher Report’s Adrian Dater has reported that the Bruins have made a call to the Avalanche in hopes of acquiring Avs captain Gabriel Landeskog.
The Avs are currently in last place, and may be entering fire sale mode in hopes of a culture change.
Landeskog was drafted 2nd overall in 2011, and was named captain in 2012. Throughout his career, the Swedish left wing has not disappointed on the score sheet, putting up 106 goals and 152 assists for 258 points in 384 games, but is having a tough year, with 6 goals and 6 assists in 28 games.
It is rumored that the cost of talent like Landeskog would be a stud like Brandon Carlo, who is likely (and hopefully) considered immovable by management, as well as another prospect or two, and a draft pick. Pretty steep.
If you’re the Bruins, is this a deal you make?
Hearing Boston has had talks with Avs over Landeskog. Sakic wanted Carlo, and B's said no
