There’s really no news coming from the Bruins today unless you care about the O.R.G Packing sponsored China trip.
Bruins doing their China trip again. July 23 to August 3. Torey Krug, David Pastrnak, Tuukka Rask all going.

Remember when people were freaking out about David Pastrnak being back in town? Surely he was signing a new contract, right?
Wrong.
He was back in town to hang out with his best bud William Nylander, Auston Matthews and others, catching a Sox game at Fenway.

That doesn’t mean that a deal won’t happen this week, it just means that that was not the express reason he was in town.
SIGN A CONTRACT THIS WEEK, DAVID!
Wooooo! Iron Maiden tonight!!!
I told Steve to get me a shirt. Make sure he gets me a shirt.
What size?
Trooper on tap!
UP THE IRONS!!!!!

Would you say you have a fever?
Hey, there’s WiFi in this pub!
Greetings from Portsmouth, Hampshire. Not to be confused with Portsmouth, New Hampshire!
Jeez, Pasta, sign already. If he’s going to China that’s surely a good sign, right?
How’s the holiday? Hopefully you’ve been drinking all the Blue Moon!
Haha! Yeah we’re having a good time, thanks. Keeping a seven-year old occupied is harder work than I thought but we’re all learning to make concessions, including her!
Pasta will sign, there’s little doubt of that. It’s just the cap hit that’s worrisome.
I have a friend who grew up in that Portsmouth.
I learned to brew beer in the “New” Portsmouth. Does that count?
Pasta’s cap hit could well be a determining factor in whether or not the Bs attempt to re-sign Chara after the coming season. On the other hand, Z’s the only major player going FA after 17-18 (the others are Vatrano [RFA], Nash, Schaller, Dobby & Postma), so that should help.
I can’t imagine he’d be on the trip unless he was serious about being a Bruin again next season. I think it’s just a matter of his agent hammering out the details with Sweenius.
