JD Power (what happened to the associates?) performed a survey of fan satisfaction at various sporting events. Surprisingly, or maybe not so, hockey did okay. The NFL, not so much.
Anyway, here’s a poll for you.
Which sporting event do you enjoy attending most?
Nothin’, I got nothin’
The Devils have signed Drew Stafford
And given a PTO to Jimmy Hayes
Just because sometimes I feel like Boston is cursed I predict a 50 point season for Hayes.
Hayes won’t top 20 points in jersey……. any jersey.
I do feel bad for the Devils fans posting on the article I read who appreciate his size and hitting potential. Little do they realize he’s more manatee than shark.
Yeah – hitting POTENTIAL. That’s the key word.
Still, there was that hat-trick against the Sens …
Live hockey – the speed, the violence, the atmosphere. True of most live sports, but hockey is that bit faster, more violent and, being indoors, has a better atmosphere than most,
Little Bear is on holiday with her Gran, so the wife and I are taking the chance to jet off for a few days to Bordeaux on Sunday! That means I’ll miss the Belgian Grand Prix and the British MotoGP, so it’ll be a social media blackout until I’ve seen them, probably on Thursday.
Hopefully when I log back on, Pasta will have been signed…
Morning all. Voted hockey because it’s the most exciting to watch live but I think any sporting event live is fun. It’s awesome to soak in the atmosphere and be among fans who are really into it.
The survey makes sense. Only initiated hardcore fans attend hockey games. Casuals ignore us completely (see Soccer on the list) Everybody and their grandmother goes to football.
Also is a 20 point spread on a 1,000 point scale really indicative of anything?
Oh post scheduler… Y U no werk?
I can try to keep an eye on it and if I see it hasn’t posted, I’ll go ahead and post it.
