Tuukka Rask returned to practice and could return to game action as soon as Thursday against the San Jose Sharks.

“It’s been a good few days,” said Rask, who has not had any prior diagnosed concussions. “Skated [Monday] a little bit, today ramped it up a little more. [I’ll] go through the concussion computer test and get cleared and we’ll talk tomorrow.

“If I feel good I’m gonna go out there. Why not, right? I just gotta pass that test. Hopefully my baseline wasn’t too high.”

Tuukka spent time talking to the press this morning after practice. He said that this was his first diagnosed concussion and seems to think that he has bounced back pretty quickly from his concussion.

In other injury news, Kevan Miller was spotted on the ice with the red no-contact jersey yesterday morning during practice. He, like David Krejci (upper body injury), is day-to-day.

Adam McQuaid has had successful surgery on his right fibula and will likely be out for at least 8 weeks.
