Morning Free Association: Transactions

There’s not much to report today. Next the Bruins play the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday. But there were a couple of transactions that happened on Tuesday.

Goalie Zane McIntyre and forward Kenny Agostino were both assigned to Providence after the trip to Columbus.

Presumably this means that Anton Khudobin is well enough to back up Tuukka Rask on Thursday. The question is whether or not the assignment of Agostino is make some room for the return of David Krejci. I’m just speculating that this could be the case; even though Krejci was never placed on IR for his back injury, it would make sense to not retain unnecessary salary by keeping Agostino in Boston.
