Game Day Thread: Lightning at Bruins

Tonight the league leading Tampa Bay Lightning make their first appearance this season at the TD Garden. Normally, this would be a great matchup since Boston seems to have their number. However, with several key Bruins players out, it’s not so easy.

David Krejci and Jake DeBrusk are both out along with Anders Bjork. However, some players are factoring back in.

Cassidy also says Brad Marchand, David Backes, and Ryan Spooner will all return to the lineup tonight. #NHLBruins

This is good news, but will it be enough?

Also, Cassidy announced that Tuukka will be back in net tonight after a strong performance in a loss to Edmonton.

“We’ve got to get Tuukka’s game to where he’s good with it and playing well. The best way to do that is get him starts.”
