Cedric Paquette was suspended for one game for boarding Torey Krug in Wednesday night’s game. Krug was rattled but ultimately unhurt as a result of the collision with the boards. But was that suspension enough?

Well, yes. Paquette did receive the on ice penalty and sat for two minutes as a result. It was good to see that the DOPS deemed it necessary to enforce an additional punishment. As mentioned before, Krug was uninjured. And for all the rattiness of Paquette’s play on ice, he has no history of suspension or even any fines. Still, he needs to know when to slow his roll in these situations.
Hey guys, remember we have a manatee game at Philly tomorrow, so, like game thread and all that.
