For the second time this season, the Bruins take on the Washington Capitals at home. The Capitals have struggled at times this season but have somehow climbed to second in the Metropolitan Division. They’re also 6-7-1 on the road. Let’s hope the B’s can make it 6-8-1 tonight.
Today, the Bruins placed Matt Beleskey on waivers. This isn’t much of a surprise since Beleskey has struggled to crack the lineup this season. On NBCSNPDQ last night, Darren Dreger suggested that Beleskey would be waived some time in the next week and that if he wasn’t picked up by another team, that perhaps he could find his game playing in Providence. Matt, we wish you well, wherever you end up.
Kevan Miller is expected to be back after the birth of his first daughter two days prior. Look for him to be in and Paul Postma to be a healthy scratch. Ryan Spooner also doesn’t look to be ready for tonight.
