Game Day Thread: Blues at Bruins

Tonight the Bruins take on the visiting Blues. Gosh, it sounds like a metaphor for winter.

Does anyone know what’s up with the Blues? The Bruins have been so h=fun and the Habs have been so bad that it’s hard to pay attention to any ol’ western conference team. Turns out they’re not just that. Currently third in the Central Division with 65 points, the Blues are on a three-game winning streak. Yikes!

The Bruins are missing Brad Marchand (suspension), Anders Bjork (arm/shoulder injury), Noel Acciari (ambiguous lower body injury), and Charlie McAvoy (heart procedure, but cleared for full participation in practice). Peter Cehlarik has been recalled from Providence and Danton Heinen has been promoted to the top line. Luckily, David Backes is back in the lineup after being knocked out of the game against the Ducks.
