This weekend, Bruins prospects travelled to Buffalo to play in the fourth annual Prospects Challenge. The kids have done pretty well, winning their first two games against Pittsburgh and Buffalo, respectively. They play one more game today against New Jersey.
Their second game against a Sabres squad that featured dynamo defenseman and 2018 overall number 1 draft pick Rasmus Dahlin was even sold out.

Here is the list of prospects participating in the tournament:
Jakob Forsbacka Karlsson
Carson Focht (on invitation)
John Ludvig (on invitation)
Justin Bergeron (on invitation)
Dawson Weatherill (on invitation)
There are lots of familiar names. However, one seems to be missing: Anders Bjork.
Bjork was slated to return to game action in this tournament, playing in his first NHL associated games since his season ending shoulder surgery earlier in the calendar year. Is he having a setback? Matt Kalman reports that he isn’t and that he’s just not participating. More specifically he felt uncomfortable while practicing last month and wanted some more time to rest it before camp.
Don’t worry kids, he’ll be back in camp this week.
