The Bruins lost a close one on Saturday night in Nashville. Quite frankly, without Jaroslav Halak in goal that night making some great saves, the Bruins would have lost it in a less narrow fashion.
One of the most egregious penalty calls of this young season went against Brad Marchand- a phantom high-sticking penalty which the Preds’ Colton Sissons sold to the refs. Marchy was vociferous in his disapproval and disbelief at the call, miming the behavior of the embellishment, which resulted in not only a double minor for hi-sticking and unsportsmanlike conduct. He got an additional 10 minute game misconduct for complaining about it.

It’s kind of hilarious except that we could have used him for that time he was out during the second period.
Ah, well. The Bruins are back at home tonight against the visiting Dallas Stars.
