The Bruins are in Philly tonight.
Guard the children.
The game is on NBC-SN tonight instead of the usual NESN, because it’s Wednesday so something something rivalry 45 years ago night.
So what do the lines look like?
Steve Kampfer and John Moore are the defensive healthy scratches tonight. Colby Cave was placed on waivers on Monday, possibly to provide Peter Cehlarik with a playing opportunity, but was lost to the Oilers via the waiver process.
David Backes has been pretty good while skating with Krejci & DeBrusk, even though coach Cassidy has been swapping the lines during gameplay. Regardless, he’s a healthy scratch, with Cehlarik taking a spot on the Krejci line tonight. Joakim Nordstrom is still out & wearing a walking boot.
Jaro Halak in goal tonight.

This evening’s opponent are the Flyers. They are not doing so great, and have been struggling in goal this season, as they have had at least 6 different netminders. So what else is new.
This has contributed to their record of 17-23-6 (40 points) which places them last in the Metro division (yet still one point
ahead of Ottawa).
Note that this time through, they have been dealing with injuries to their goaltending stable more than just the lack of talent which is their typical issue.
Brian Elliott is on injured reserve with a groin injury,
Michal Neuvirth has a lower-body injury with unknown return time
Anthony Stolarz also has an LBI
Centerman Corban Knight is expected to be out until the end of February due to a broken collarbone.
They are 2-3-1 in their last six games.
