Well, all good things come to an end. Last night, the Bruins nineteen-game point streak came to an end when the Bruins dropped to the Penguins, 4-2. It was a good run and it was only a matter of time before the streak was ended. Thankfully, it wasn’t stopped by the Senators, because losing to the worst team in the NHL is awful.
So, the only thing the Bruins can do now is start a new win streak.
The Bruins just didn’t have it last night with many turnovers, dumb penalties, and a swing in momentum that they could capitalize upon. It’s a shame because they were having so much fun winning.
One very bad thing that happened in the second period was an injury to Matt Grzelcyk, who’s been having a great season. Grzelcyk took an awkward hit to his arm from Patric Hornqvist, requiring some medical attention.

He didn’t return to the game. After the game, Cassidy gave an update.
Bruce Cassidy on Matt Grzelcyk: “X-rays were negative, may have dodged a bullet.”
But team will know more tomorrow about severity of injury.

So, there you have it. Today we should hear more about his prognosis. Hopefully, it’s nothing serious and only requires a little bit of rest.
