After having an initial set of x-rays that were negative for broken bones, Matt Grzelcyk was sent home to Boston for more testing. Officially he has an upper body injury and has been ruled out for tonights game.
Per Bruins, Matt Grzelcyk has traveled back to Boston and will not be available vs. CBJ tomorrow. Good news is x-rays taken in PIT were negative.

Thankfully, we have another d-man, Steven Kampfer, who can slot in the meantime.
The Bruins also made another transaction yesterday, sending Lee Stempniak back down to Providence. Stempniak joined the Boston Bruins for the past two games and was unimpressive in those games, averaging just under 8 minutes a night with no shots on goal and 2 hits. That’s definitely not enough to justify keeping him up with the team, never mind playing on David Krejci’s wing.
Tonight, the Bruins take on the Blue Jackets in Columbus. It should be a fun game and a great start to that next win streak.
