Morning Free Association: Bruins Bar

It was a quiet day in Bruinslandia yesterday as the boys returned from their four-game road trip. The biggest news of the day came from the Bruins opening a new bar at Logan.

It’s open at Terminal A if you’re traveling by plane…somewhere…that involves that terminal.

The other news of the day was that the B’s extended Paul Carey in a two-year, two-way meal.

Yep, slow day.

I’m actually a little excited for the Bruins bar at Logan, except I don’t recall using Terminal A particularly often. I believe that one is Delta which I only have used when going through Atlanta or (shudders) Monroe.

I almost always use Delta, so hell yeah!

Morning all.

What’s a two-way meal? Doesn’t sound very appetising wink

Tried to buy tickets to the Flyers-Blackhawks game in Prague this morning, but by the time I got to the front of the virtual line they were sold out sad Ah well, some things aren’t meant to be. They weren’t cheap – £130 for basic tickets – that’s more than I paid for the third row at TD Garden! But I guess when you’re in Europe and want to go and see an NHL game there’s not a whole lot of choice …

A two way meal tastes just as good when you throw up as when you ate it!

I can’t wait until I go to Terminal A!

Actually, I’ll be travelling to Quincy sooner than later to visit my uncle, but I don’t exactly know when or how I will get there. I might drive.

Hey Pals!
I’m sleepy after a late night double (pimpin’ be hard!). I should be awake for puck drop tonight.
Reffing a game at Webster Bank Arena, the Sound Tigers’ home, on Saturday…hanging around to watch the Sound Tigers vs Charlotte Checkers….but now the forecast is 70° Saturday! I want to boat!!

That’s cool! A 10,000 seater! How full is it likely to be?

It’ll be fairly empty while I work…. 100 – 150 people. They usually have full announcements, et al, to make it more real (done this a couple times before, twice at MSG!!) Fun stuff.

I too will be inside a rink this Saturday where the outside temp will be 70!

I had a feeling when I was agreeing to do this game (back in January) that it would be a beautiful day. \_0_/ I can still only be in one place at a time, so enjoy that place, right?

Also, go Checkers! I haven’t been to a Checkers game in a long time.
