The Bruins have scheduled their 5th (mostly) annual preseason trip to China.
In the summers since reaching a partnership with O.R.G. packaging – China’s leading sponsor of ice hockey – the Bruins have sent players to visit Shenzen & Beijing, etc., running youth hockey clinics, and playing a few preseason games.
And, importantly we get to see Bruins players doing P.R. in Shenzen at 3AM.
Morning all. I think today will be spent staring out the window at the beautiful weather.
Morning all,
Last night was our annual works boat party. After a string of heavy nights, I reluctantly decided to give it a miss. It looked fun, but after hearing some of the stories I made the right decision!
China? China? They’ve had their share, bring the Bs back to Europe! MLB found out this year that London turns out for a good cause. Come on NHL, you know it makes sense!
Hi Pals!
Promote the product!!! It’s a reality in our brave, new world (one i continually seek escape from!). I would gladly visit China to play hockey, if there is a senior tournament (old Chinese do not play hockey, and if they have skates, they’re made of goat hooves – i coulda been a contendah!).
Boated at Bull’s Bridge on the Housatonic last night. Kayaking off waterfalls, more or less. I have a friend that is more or less at the same level i’m at. We share our anxieties facing whitewater that our compadres take in stride. Last night she ran Bull’s for the first time! Big cellie all around! There are a couple communities that embrace those looking to advance. Whitewater and hockey. I have been lucky enough to be involved in both. Maybe it’s because we have our buddies back, always, don’t know. There’s nothing like the friends one finds in either group. Viva hockey. Viva whitewater, eh?
What some lovely positivity in the morning! We need more of this. In fact, the world needs more of it!
