We all know that the kids are the ones that set the trends. Like saggy baggy jeans, showing your underwear in a cool way, and wearing boots as headwear. Well, some of the young guns in the Bruins system are setting trends as well, like not even wearing bridges or fake teeth where their teeth were knocked out.
Jack Studnicka showed off his lack of teeth at the Fan Fest in Leominster yesterday. I would have thought that he would have done something for cosmetic purposes, or for the ladies/ guys/ non-binary types out there (I do not judge on sexual orientation, just on teeth), but he’s letting that wide gap hang all out

Of course, he’s not the only current Bruins player to sport the open tooth-slot or damaged teeth, but most do get them repaired or replaced. At points last season both Jake DeBrusk and Brandon Carlo had lost or chipped front teeth. Former Bruins Noel Acciari and Ryan Donato took terrible pucks to their mouth requiring surgery. Even captain Zdeno Chara took a puck to the face requiring his jaw to wired shut and losing several teeth in the process. Perhaps the most famous of these new smile stylers is David Pastrnak, who wears his chipped front teeth as a derpy badge of honor.
And that’s okay because we love him the way he is. And we’ll love Studnicka the way he is, too!
