Yesterday, the Boston Bruins announced that Anton Blidh had a successful surgery at MGH on a ligament in his right shoulder. His recovery time is estimated to be four months. So, we’ll be seeing him in Providence in the new year.
As for David Krejci’s injury, there’s no word yet on the extent of it other than it’s a lower body injury. Bruce Cassidy gave a brief update.
Cassidy said that Krejci will get re-evaluated again tomorrow. Reiterated that he doesn’t think his injury is serious.

After seeing game action on Monday night, Dan Vladar has been assigned to Providence.
Many of the young players trying to make the big team will skate in the game against the Devils on Wednesday night, with some more roster cuts coming later this week. Cassidy expects Anders Bjork and Paul Carey to be competing for a spot, a spot that will be open while Joakim Nordstrom still recovers, that they’re on the bubble as of now.
Good for him. I hope he gets better and makes the roster.
Good for Gemel. I really like him. Also, I love that Patrice is every bit as great as we all think he is. <3
37 players going on waivers!!! Old friend Zane (we hardly knew ya) McIntyre and Nathan Gerbe are two of note.
Here they are!
ZANE!
Macintyre waived by Vancouver. I didn’t realise he’d left Boston!
Hey All!
The injury thing always gives a couple players an extra chance. Some make it count, some show why they need an extra chance in the first place.
My games last night were playoff games. I had a great partner to work with and all went well.
I keep wavering over when to quit this game. Soon. I may wait until the end of March. I have another game at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport. Might be a good way to go out.
Hopefully you get a retirement party!
Morning all. One of the horses down the road from me got out in my dream last night and was wandering around my front yard along with a bunch of kittens. Have you ever tried to wrangle a horse and kittens? It’s really hard!
Morning, hockey pals!
Excuse the formatting because I have no idea how this will come out.
– food
– cafe con leche
– orange juice (fresh squeezed literally everywhere)
– resting bitch face
– being bilingual enough that my high school Spanish got me through the week with almost no problems
– Art!
– Modernizing cities while still allowing them to feel super medieval (Toledo y Segovia)
– Servers coming back to see if you’d like another drink
– Servers being unable to comprehend why you would ever order yourself two drinks at once (water and a coffee or whatever)
– Having any sort of national schedule. Pretty hard to figure out where to go and what to do, from a retail or hospitality viewpoint, anyway.
I should get in the shower now…
Welcome back!!! I really enjoyed all your posts from over there. Now, i need to go!!
When i order two drinks, it’s whatever and more whatever!
Hola! I need to go back to Spain. It’s such a beautiful country. And you need to go back again and go to Sevilla. The cathedral will floor you!
Hiya,
Looked like you had a great trip!
I’ve never been all that keen on Spain, although I’ve always been to the same area which is always crammed with English tourists! Disaster!
I did enjoy a day trip to Barcelona but it was way too hot that day and I was way too tired. Might have to go back.
Italy and Germany would be my faves from Europe. And Slovakia of course!
¡Bienvenidos!
