Morning Free Association: A Devil of a Time

Saturday night was the B’s home opener and it was a good night. Despite the players’ fatigue, the Bruins managed to play a decent game, perhaps not their strongest. A win is a win. And it resulted in two points, so that’s all that mattered.

The match saw goals from Brad Marchand, Joakim Nordstrom, and Patrice Bergeron (PPG).

Jake DeBrusk allowed local-born player (from Canton, MA!) to knock himself into the bench.

Bergy and Marchy put on a penalty kill clinic.

Yep, after 60 minutes of play, that was 2 U’s, 2 K’s, and 2 points!

Morning all. So….many….tourists….in….town. But the foliage did brighten up just in time for the holiday weekend. Was pretty drab for a while.

A work friend said he was looking forward to seeing the foliage up your way this weekend.
Glad he’ll get a show.

One thing about Monroe, (smallest town in Mass.) NO ONE CAN FIND IT!!!!! Only dirtbag boaters and a couple motorcycles ever pass through

Hi folks.

Happy Columbus day. Although from social feeds it looks like almost no-one actually has the day off!

But I’ve got the day off and finally its a game I can watch live!

Had to make do with hilights Saturday. I assume not much happened in the third because they showed about 30secs of it!

I never had Columbus Day off before, but the Mrs said, and i quote, “I guess you be away Monday, the holiday.” Me ( thinking as fast as i can…) : “Why, yes. Of course I’ll be taking Monday off for, er, uh, the holiday.” While i wonder what holiday we are talking about.

Haha, yeah that sounds familiar. Up until very recently, bank holidays were part of the normal working week for both me and Mrs Bear. Dad would ask “got any plans for the holiday weekend?” And me: “umm. When is it!?”
