Game Day Thread: Leafs @ Bruins

Bruins vs Maple Leafs

The Bruins are back home, playing the Maple Leafs in the 2nd game of a home-and-home matchup..

After 8 games, the Bruins are at 5-1-2, which is good for 2nd place in the Atlantic, (most recently losing to the Leafs late in OT).

What will be the lineup tonight?

Well the big news today is David Krejci’s assignment to the Injury Report. #46 had been suffering from an upper-body injury.
Karson Kuhlman has been sidelined after blocking a shot, and is not ready to return to action.

Defensemen Kevan Miller and John Moore are still on Injured Reserve and Long-term Injured Reserve respectively, providing playing time for Matt Grzelcyk and Connor Clifton.
Joakim Nordstrom has just returned to practice after several sessions in the red non-contact jersey.

Given the personnel issues, the forward lines have been put in a blender. Charlie Coyle will center the 2nd line, and Sean Kuraly will take the 3rd line with Par Lindholm on the 4th line.
Anders Bjork has been called up from Providence to fill in a gap.

Tuukka Rask will be in goal tonight for his 500th game!

Don’t get me wrong – I HATE video replay for offside – but just make sure you’re onside FFS.
