Yesterday, there was little word from the Bruins. While Bruins reporters wrote pieces detailing the third period collapse, the latest in the now four-game losing streak, there was no word of even a practice coming from the Bruins. As it turns out, they had the day off completely.
Maybe it’s best that the players had the day off from team activities, maybe focus on normal training. Today will be perhaps more unpleasant.
Tomorrow in Toronto they start the grind with the second of three back-to-backs this month, followed by a game at the Garden against the Capitals.
I know, Sean, I know. It’s going to be a tough weekend.
