Game Day Thread: Bruins @ Leafs

Bruins vs Maple Leafs

The Bruins are in Toronto again, playing the Maple Leafs for the 3rd time this year.

After 8 games, the Bruins are at 5-1-2, which is good for 2nd place in the Atlantic, (most recently losing to the Leafs late in OT).

What will be the lineup tonight?

Well, Torey Krug, and a bunch of young forwards are injured.

Urho Vaakanainen has been called up and the forward lines have been put in a blender. Charlie Coyle and Anders Bjork will play wing on the 2nd line, and Par Lindholm will center a rookie/prospect line.
Trfent Frederic has been called up from Providence to fill in.

Tuukka Rask will be in goal tonight.

Toronto has faced the Bruins twice since losing Game 7 of the first round of the playoffs, winning in an overtime game in toronto and losing to the Bruins in regulation in Boston. John Tavares is back from a broken finger, and Zach Hyman and Travis Dermott are back from injuries dating from the playoffs. Alexander Kerfoot and Mitch Marner are both injured – Marner with an ankle injury that will sideline him for a few weeks.
