Morning Free Association: Winging It

The end of the week is here! For us, it might mean some time to relax, spend time with family, or to build that shed that FedEx finally delivered. For others, it means that they have two tough back-to-back games against the Leafs and the Capitals.

Zach Senyshyn was felled by a lower body injury on Tuesday night and will be re-evaluated in about 4 weeks. In his stead, the Bruins have recalled Trent Frederic and are trying him out at left wing. Sure, he’s a natural center, who isn’t on this team? However, there is no need for a center at this time since approximately 45 of the forwards can play there, so he’s just going to have wing it.

Since he’s a left shot and Anders Bjork is only supposed to play wing as part of his role on the team, Trent Frederic will play left wing on the third line with center Par Lindholm and the versatile Danton Heinen at right wing.

Tuukka Rask is expected to start tonight with Jaroslav Halak taking over net minding duties against Washington on Saturday night.

Hopefully, the B’s can pull 2 or more points from these games this weekend and stop they losing skid.

Happy weekend!

Circling back to a previous conversation about hold music and calling insurance companies: If you need to a Medicare Supplement insurance company, make sure to turn the volume down on your phone because IT’S REALLY LOUD SO OLD PEOPLE CAN HEAR WHEN THEY CALL IN!

Hi folks.

You know you’ve got injury problems when even the replacements are going down injured!

If I was a P-Bruins I’d be really nervous about getting called up!

1. Apparently you can’t spoiler gifs.
2. That’s annoying because it was the perfect set up for a rick roll.
3. IW and I don’t know the difference between a spatula and a hair brush.

Hahaha! Yes, a Rick roll would have been perfect there.

Morning all. Nearing the finish line of a two week work stretch. One more day than total lazy day on Sunday.

Hi All!
Just came back to the future. I reviewed yesterday’s MFA, then backbuttoned to today…… Where am i??
Ms Proactive (Jo, of course) booked us a room by the Centrum for the 30th. I very excite!!
Still ln the learning curve with this woodstove. I had it about 82 in here last night. Whoops. Burning one tenth of the wood used in the apartment/ garage!
Okay Bruins, lets get it together. I could see a scenario where they strjggle into the new year, then get healthy and make a run. Just me thinking too much.

I feel ya with the wood stove. I just swapped our wood stove for a pellet stove this spring, and am really just learning it now. I accidentally let it run empty yesterday morning, then cold-started it, but it must have not loaded the pellets because I ran off to work and it didn’t start all the way, then when I came home & started it, it knocked the programmable thermostat off the wall trying to open the little door, stopping the stove again.

By the time I got the thing started, it had 3x the normal amount of wood pellets in the firebox and started making noise like you wouldn’t believe once it got going.

It’s not really all that hard, but I’m busily finding all of the ways to screw it up before I brag about how cool it is.
