After playing his first two NHL games in the past week, Jack Studnicka was assigned to Providence over the weekend. His fellow call-up, Brendan Gaunce, remained on the Bruins roster without playing a game since the Thanksgiving eve game against the Senators. Well, he’s not staying up.
Brandan Gaunce was sent back down to Providence, which was expected. What wasn’t expected was who was recalled by the Bruins.
John Moore, still recovering from a shoulder surgery, was on LTIR but finally cleared for contact. He was loaned to Providence on an injury conditioning stint which lasted all of one game against the Charlotte Checkers. He apparently had a good game and was subsequently recalled.
So, what’s his status? Who knows, really. On CapFriendly he is still listed as on LTIR, so until he’s taken off that (and presumably some other transaction happens so that the B’s can afford to do that), he’s not NHL eligible. So, we’ll see what happens.
The Bruins are back in action at home tonight against the Carolina Hurricanes.
I got up this morning, saw 2+ inches of fresh snow & went through the normal morning routine.
Then I get out on the roads, and they haven’t plowed or sanded most of the streets.
After a few sharp turns, it occurs to me that perhaps I should stay home but it’s more dangerous to turn around and re-traverse a mile or so of winding unplowed streets when there’s a bunch of larger, straighter roads ahead, and the car slides into a curb (did I mention the number of sharp curves on my commute?).
After a few minutes of digging, and a little pushing from a couple of friendly passers-by I get back onto the road.
This is super dumb. I work 2 towns over, and *they* plowed the streets.
Why did you not take the correct car? I told you I cancelled my life outside of the house until Wednesday. I want nothing to do with these roads until tomorrow.
I assumed the streets would not be stupidly broken and that I should get used to driving the Prius in the snow. The Rav4 would not have got me stuck for 10 minutes though.
It was slippery!!
Also, lines look to be same/ similar to Sunday:
When I think of the Canes, I like to remember that Brad Marchand drove Justin Williams so nuts that he needed time to decide whether or not he wanted to play hockey anymore.
Morning all. I’ve been up for too long.
F%&@#ing Groundhogs Day. I thought i shoveled that snow yesterday!!
Hi folks.
And Cliffy has played his 60 games or whatever it is that means he has to go on waivers to be sent down.
Trade coming? If so who? And what are we looking to get in return?
I’m having quite a lazy day, which feels wrong at this time of year. I feel like there’s something I should be doing.
#Keep Cliffy!!!
You should relax… you’ve earned it!!! Or come over and shovel snow….
Trade coming….. Anybody except David Perron
Ewww…
Only if we can also bring someone else on board to punch him in the face a few times every day.
Hey All!
Glad to see Moore healthy. The Whalercanes are fast!!! Could be a track meet tonight!
