David Krejci turns 34 years old today. Yesterday, he spoke with Boston media via Zoom about many subjects including resuming play with or without fans, the virtual reunion of the 2011 championship team, and the importance of staying in shape, being that’s the only thing they can control right now.

Poor Krejci looks exhausted; apparently his infant son born in January is keeping odd hours at night.
Perhaps the most intriguing topic that Krejci approached was that of his playing days. At this point, he has no plan to retire after his contract is up in 2021. He doesn’t know where he will be playing but he does want to play beyond the next season. This may make winning a cup this season or next important because the Bruins may not be able to afford a new deal with him.
It’s not the time to plan for the 2021-2022 season, so instead enjoy this replay of last week’s 2011 reunion.
