Yesterday was National Nurse Appreciation Day and the NHL was all over it.
Note that the B’s are represented by David Pastrnak and a Red Sox capped Patrice Bergeron.

On the local front, former Bruins defenseman Adam McQuaid thanked three nurses via Zoom with tickets to a Bruins game and a signed jersey- all to be dispursed in the future when it’s safer to do so. McQuaid still maintains his local connection, as his wife is a nurse who works at Mass General.
Thank you, Nurses!

Nurses are the backbone of any medical team so it’s wonderful to see these three nurses get some outside appreciation from the Bruins organization.
I am wearing a pair of pants I hemmed myself using a honeycomb stitch. Unfortunately, I ran out of thread and I am patiently awaiting an order to come through.
I should send you my jeans to fix. Got a couple of pairs with holes that need mending.
You should!
Morning all. Thank you to everyone putting themselves at risk so we can be safe. And maybe we can start treating essential workers like grocery store employees and so on with the respect they deserve instead of just something at a cash register.
I would hope that we would already but I have seen people and they suck. I’m glad to see that our local supermarkets have been taking it seriously and employess even have face shields.
People are the worst.
Wow. Big respect to Mrs McQuaid. Can’t be many nurses with millionaire husbands.
Big respect to all the nurses, of course- no way I could do that job.
I think my neighbour is home brewing. Anyway, there’s a lovely malty smell keeps wafting into the garden!
Good Morning!!
Quaider!!!!
My question: Where the hell was Darnel Nurse in all this?
Went boating at Tarriffville yesterday. That’s the geological oddity, caused by the last ice age, where the Farmington River has carved a narrow gorge through the hills. The walls of the gorge were covered with columbine yesterday. I’ve never seen so much in one place.
River wraps around a hill there. One parks at the top, hikes upstream along trail with boat, paddles downriver around hill, carries boat back to car. Social distancing accomplished.
You take the cake for the most creative use of social distancing
