It’s the final game of the pre-playoff post-season. We will see the two top seeds of the Eastern Conference play for the 3rd vs the 4th playoff spot. Because we live in bizarro land.
I’d go through what has come before, and how the teams have fared in previous match-ups, but lets face it, none of it matters – these games are totally disconnected to the season, and the league year ended a month ago.
The Bruins have stumbled through the round-robin games, losing both games and the exhibition match, barely getting to a place where they look competitive.
What are the lines?
After all, what ARE lines, really?
Well, Ondrej Kase is back, so it is likely that we’re gonna see the expected 2nd line with DeBrusk on his usual left side.
On Washington’s side, defenseman John Carlson is out as being “unfit to play”. As he is their leader in time on ice, that should be kind of a big deal.
