We did it! We made it through another week.
I’m not going to ruin your day or weekend with Cam Neely’s comments to the media. Maybe we can save that for Monday.
Let’s all have a great weekend!
(Oh, and Sean Couturier won the Selke.)

In Boomer news: Boomer is now obsessed with goats. Our local park has hired some local goats to take care of some of the overgrowth in areas neighboring the State Forest. Boomer likes to go look at them and get super excited. The goats are very interested in us because goats are cool that way. So, I guess we have some new friends.
It’s Anonymous Friday.
Morning all. One more day then I can pop some bottles. I think that’s what the cool kids say.
I sure as hell slept hard last night. Didn’t even wake up when Nugget did her 3am “Feeding time is in a few hours, better go sit on the human so it doesn’t go anywhere.” routine.
No all the cool kids say “Post up”.
Hi folks.
I see some NFL teams are allowing fans into the ground. I guess that’s good?
This week they let spectators in to a horseracing event, but there are no plans to try again for the next few weeks. Ugh.
I’ve a work friend who has season tickets for the Patriots. He told me that they were offering lottery-based access to a reduced number of games while trying to keep groups together.
He wasn’t eager to swap from 8 home games + playoffs to some random game in December so had his $ carried over to next season. I don’t know what the occupancy is going to look like – had heard 20% but that still seems too full to be safe.
Not to mention the crowd-clumping situations inherent in a sports arena. Pregame – form 10 parallel lines getting through security screeners. End of quarter – visit the crowded restroom wait in line for 5-10 minutes. Start of quarter – wait in concessions line for beverages. End of game – cattle-call journey down the stairwells (ramps in Gillette stadium, but same effect), etc.
Less than a quarter capacity was what I heard so 20pc tallies with that.
You’re thought though- it’s the peripherals that are more concerning than actually sitting watching the games.
On the plus side, I do trust drunk football fans to behave in a thoughtful, responsible manner…
Yay!!! We (almost) made it!! I still have a day from hell ahead of me…… Boatercross tomorrow!!!
Loading up heavy things to take north. I have my Monroe neighbor’s truck…. The brakes went mushy about 35 miles trom home last night… Really looking forward to driving it with a heavy load today….. NOT!!
Good luck for tomorrow. Do you have a target position you’re aiming to finish in?
Those brakes sound dodgy. Be safe!
Just hope the wheels don’t fall off!

I vote for a target position of “upright” – not a given when kayaks are involved!
Go Big Blue!!
