As we saw last week, NHL teams are debuting a new look sweater this year called the Retro Remix. For what I’ve seen, every team is doing that, even teams that don’t have a past per se like the Vegas Golden Knights.
The Bruins gave an official teaser this weekend.
1990 with a modern-day remix.

As Icethetics points out in their preview article, while the inside of the collar says “90” referring to the 1990 season, it’s weird because the Bruins didn’t change their jersey between 1977-1995. So the “90” is an arbitrary year.
In this remix, it seems like they based it upon the home whites just swapping out the white with gold, the gold with black, and the black with white. And of course, it wouldn’t be the uniform of the mid-70’s to mid-90’s without having a healthy dose of Meth Bear.
These new uniforms drop later today on social media.
