Morning Free Association: Baby Noodle

After last week, I thought we’d start this week off with a palate cleanser. Nothing heavy, nothing really newsworthy, just light and joy.

No, it’s not time for another Bruins Cutest Dog Election. It’s far too early for that considering none of the dogs have officially conceded. There will be a InDOGuration next Sunday of Major Biden, being the first rescue to live in the White House.

I’m talking about our sweet angel, adult child, and co-winner of the Rocket Richard Trophy, David Pastrnak is going to become a father to a bouncing baby noodle.

I hope he doesn’t become all grown up all of a sudden, instead remaining the sweet, silly boy that he’s been all this time, even after getting his dog.

The thought of Pasta being a dad is super confusing for me. In my mind, he’s still the big kid who doesn’t do grown-up stuff.

Good Morning!
I got nothing’. That, I just realized, is a true Zen saying. Now that I have nothing everything is mine…. Give me that Stanley Cup!

Good morning. Nice news, congrats to the Pastas. I can confirm becoming a dad does not make you stop being an adult child! In fact if anything it encourages it – you suddenly have a constant companion who is close to your mental level grin

Had a nice walk in the country yesterday. There was a thick overnight frost that was melting and made for a lovely atmosphere, if a bit chilly (by our standards). Sonia took a flask of tea and I prepared a hip flask of rum so we could stop for some grog – traditional drink at Slovak hockey games!

I’m using up some owed holiday days so not in work again till Thursday. I like.

On the plus side, it provides an excuse for buying more toys!
