With the Bruins having the day off after their blowout of the Flyers at Lake Tahoe, there isn’t much news to report. Just about the only thing to talk/ worry about is the piling up of players bodies on the injury report.
Jeremy Lauzon left the game at Tahoe in the first period after receiving an upper body injury. At this time, little is known of his status.
David Krejci is still dealing with a lower body injury which prevented him from traveling with the club to the outdoor game.
Kevan Miller is a surprise on the injury report with an undisclosed injury. Whether or not this has anything to do with the health of his right knee I can’t say for sure although he cold be listed as injured as a precaution to hold him out for the big game. Since the ice conditions would be a voyage into the unknown, the team felt it better to be safe rather than sorry with his the old blue liner’s knee health.
Jakub Zboril is still listed as having an undisclosed injury that we’re pretty sure was an upper body injury sustained against the Rangers.
Finally, Matt Grzelcyk (LBI) and Ondrej Kase (UBI) are still hanging on to the list. They’ve both been skating on their own with Grzelcyk being closer to a return than Kase. Kase will probably take a long time to recover.
The B’s will return to action on Thursday night against the Islanders.
