Development camp continues in Brighton. Yesterday, Jamie Langenbrunner had media availability with which he addressed a couple of players: first year pros Curtis Hall and JD Greenway.

About Hall he said that he had played better in his last game in Providence last season, with which he played in 13 games. He’s signed to a two-way, three year deal through 2013-24 but looking forward to his first full year in Providence. Last season, with the Yale season cancelled due to the pandemic, he decided to “take the next step” to play for Providence. Even though he was hurt in the first game, he used that extra time to do his coursework since he’s still enrolled in classes at Yale. He said he’s going to finish up his Political Science degree online over the next couple of summers. School is important to him and he wants to finish it up.

As for Greenway, Langenbrunner revealed that he’s signed to an AHL deal right now and that he’s athletic but he needs to work on some things. At Maine, his problem was taking bad penalties.
Jamie Langenbrunner on JD Greenway: "We see an athletic kid that has some molding to do as a player. There's some raw skill to his game, his length, his skating ability … We have some time with him. We like the athletic ability and we'll see where it goes"

Kyle Keyser also addressed the media. He says that the time he’s spent the last couple of seasons in the ECHL has made him ready for real minutes with the Providence Bruins. He’s very well aware that he has competition with players that were drafted and that he feels that he’s done the work to prove that he belongs at that level. Last season he was lucky to be placed in Florida with an ECHL team so that he could play in front of family.
🎥 B's goalie prospect Kyle Keyser on his goals for the upcoming season: "It’s been a good two years of development for myself, feeling like my game is right where it needs to be for that opportunity to be in Providence and show them that I’m ready for a full-time season there." pic.twitter.com/XlBIgo1K4f

Finally, Jake Schmaltz talked about his good friend Mason Lohrei with whom he played in Green Bay with the Gamblers in the USHL. During this, we found out that Sophia Jurksztowicz “creeps” on prospect Instagram.
🎥 Jake Schmaltz on learning from #BruinsDevCamp: "It means a lot to be a Boston Bruin – on the ice, off the ice. You’ve got to act like a professional and hold yourself accountable. Don’t put it on anyone else, put it on yourself…show up every day and give it all you got." pic.twitter.com/dRmDCp9EM4

Finally, back to day one: Brad Marchand came in to talk to the prospects about being a Bruin and a professional. But first, he proved why he has an “A” on his sweater by doing the bike test with the young guys. The prospects were very impressed.
I love Brad. I love that he has taken the words that he was given, transformed them into actions, and now spreads the word.
Morning all. Wednesday already? Week is moving qick!
I tried to play “Sunday morning jazz” on YouTube… It offered “Wednesday morning blues” instead…
Good morning!
Prospects! They’re teenagers. To hear them talk about being professional and taking responsibility for one’s actions….. makes me want to grow up, too!
Jo is sliding into Monroe time. Yup, we get up early. We retire early, too. In between we have fun. Our neighbors took us fourwheeling up on the mountain behind us. From the top you can see MT Monadnock in southern New Hampshire in one direction and past MT Greylock into NY on the other. Sweet. Nice campfire last night, too. Now, back to work!
Four wheeling up a mountain? that sounds like fun!
