The Swedish winger is pulling in an expected cap hit of $1,095,833 according to CapFriendly, with a $925k/80k NHL/minor league split for each of the next 3 seasons. This is a bit pricey for a young guy who racked up more penalty minutes than points last year — Curtis Lazar is only getting $800k, and Jeremy Swayman is pulling in $925k/70k on his 2-way contract. It may not be so much in practice. It seems unlikely that a guy who has played a whopping 26 SHL games is going to leap onto the NHL roster anytime soon.
The Bruins also signed AHL goaltender Callum Booth for a 1 year 2-way contract at $750k/70k. Welcome back, Callum.
Good morning!
Jo finished painting and floor poly in the pantry!!! Our fridge is indoors, not on the back porch!!!!! Woo hoo! We have a freezer and a dryer…. I am trying to fix the almost new washer… too much time in storage.
Yup, Lysell’s contract seems high, but he will be in the third year of that ELC before he makes it with the big boys.
Went for a swim last night. Need to repeat that this afternoon!!
Morning all. Hope everyone is staying as cool as possible during the heatwave!
Another heatwave?! Weather here is better than the long range forecast suggested but that’s not saying much!
80’s here (I think 90 Thursday and Friday).

Heatwave for the next few days…. only dropping to 70°f the next few nights… even here in happy valley!
Oof. Keep up those evening swims!
Hi folks!
That Swayman contract must be one of the best in the league. Or potentially so.
Into phase two of the holiday – being pampered by mom and her partner in Worcester. Phase one was a lot of fun but could do with a holiday now!
Sounds relaxing! Enjoy the time with family!
Ahh, another trip to Worcester. I wonder if there are any good shows at Ralph’s Diner
Time for more holiday!
