Yeah, yesterday was Monday a day after the game with presumably practice and not much else. It’s fitting that there’s not much going on, I guess.
Being so close to Halloween, the Bruins took a video vote on candy corn. Most of them don’t like it.

Nick Foligno, whose birthday falls on Halloween, loves candy corn. However, everyone else who knows what it is a decided, “Nah.” Well, except Brandon Carlo who was on the fence about it. He probably eats the stuff with Foligno in private but publicly dislikes it.
And Pasta has no idea what it is because apparently the Czechs only have sensible candies or no Halloween.
Does Bergy even eat candy?
I guess Bruce Cassidy doesn’t like getting cavities.
I get not really liking it because it’s waxy and sweet without real flavor. The best ones are the harvest candy corns because they have the cocoa ends.
Later yesterday, I saw this masterpiece.

You’re welcome.
Mentioned to Jo that candy corn was a topic….. “Digusting!” was her immediate reaction..
Well yeah, that’s just science.
Morning all. I like the candy pumpkins. Haven’t had one of those in a long time.
After being exposed to candy corn for any length of time, candy pumpkins are a welcome respite!
I fogot about candy pumpkins! Are they made of marzipane?
Marshmallow
I like those better than candy corn. Almost picked up some recently. Problem is I want like a couple not a whole bag.
Morning folks,
Yeah, I’m with Pasta – never heard of it. Even after Googling I’m none the wiser. I can buy a kilogram pack for £17, but like Cassidy I don’t like things that stick in your teeth, so I won’t be doing that!
It’s basically pulled sugar & gelatin. So it ends up with the texture of beeswax. Its surprisingly not super sweet. It has hints of honey & sesame flavors, but mostly empty and mildly sweet.
It’s the apotheosis of snack food that one eats not because it’s actually tasty, but just because it’s sitting right in front of you.
Ah, ok. I don’t have much of a sweet tooth but I’m a sucker for anything super-sour or covered in that fizzy sugar.
As a kid we would push them down over our teeth to make a super creepy smile!
Good morning!
Epic rain day! Good day to work indoors!
No news is good news, eh? Wouldn’t mind hearing that Foligno is fine.
No rain here but it must’ve been windy overnight because a huge branch fell out of our Elderberry tree! Luckily there was no patio furniture under it.
How big is your elderberry… i never see them more than 10 – 12 feet tall here
I reckon it’s about 20ft to the very top of the highest branches
I blew it as far as eldeberries this year. There were so many i could have collected gallons of them…… one week later all eaten by wildlife!
