Tonight the Boston Bruins and Tampa Bay Lightning meet for the third time this season with one more match next month. The two teams have split the season series so far, 1-1. There’s about as much at stake as can be for a regular season game with one point and a game in hand separating the two teams. Second place in the Atlantic is on the line.
Hampus Lindholm practiced with the team for the first time yesterday. Paired up with Charlie McAvoy for the first practice, he could be playing alongside Brandon Carlo for todays. By gametime he will be on one of those pairs!

Patrice Bergeron should be back in tonight if he’s medically cleared.
🎥 Patrice Bergeron on missing the past three games: "I got an infection on my elbow…the infection grew and I needed to fly back and really take care of that and get surgery on it…I have to see the doctor tomorrow… if I get cleared, I'll be there [against Tampa]." pic.twitter.com/sio2GkqB7V

Tampa comes into this game losers of their last two, against the Rangers and at the Hurricanes. They’ll be looking to bounce back with a win. The Bruins have won their last two, including an overtime win against Montreal.
Tonight’s game is at 7pm on NESN.
Bergy out tonight..
Ughhh. Get well soon Bergy
Morning all. Definitely not blue skies today! And holy clusterfork with the Golden Knights!
That will be an awkward return for Dadonov!
Still lovely here but there’s talk of maybe snow by the end of next week!
Uh, hi! Remember me?
And holy clusterfork with the Golden Knights!
What the hell happened out there in the desert? They coulda been a contendah!
coulda been a contender
I’m a little worried about the Bruins playing a strong team who’ve been their nemesis the past few seasons after their recent trend towards having a hard time finishing off their (often lesser) opponents. I would assume that they won’t have a big advantage in net tonight – Tampa has good goaltending.
It will be good to have Bergy back, and I wanna see Lindholm.
The Bruins seem to play better against the better teams… let’s hope that trend (real or imagined) continues!
Good morning!
Debut night for Lindholm! I have noticed some of the deadline buyers struggling in the first game or two since. Adjustments will be made. Shouldn’t be too hard for the Bs as there’s mostly just Lindholm. Brown will see limited games and ice time, I believe.
Went to Shelburne Falls yesterday. Had to go to the big city to deposit my social security check… direct deposit starts next month as our gov’t moves like molasses uphill in January… The upside? Chicken Schwerma at the food truck in the center of town. Sat outside and watched the falls while we ate… magical sights, smells, and tastes! Yes, we have to travel forty miles to find ethnic diversity… really the one drawback to life in the hilltowns.
Lived in Waterbury, CT for ages…. easy to eat paella in the Puerto Rican neighborhood, pierogies in the Polish neighborhood, amazing BBQ in the Jamaican neighborhood… Italian? Fuhgeddaboudit! Anything…
We have a good world cookbook.. \_0_/
Waterbury even had a great soul food shack…. aptly named the “Soul Food Shack”
I miss the street food options in central London. One of the very few things I do miss about working at the office!
We don’t have too much street food around here – there are some spots in Boston/Cambridge tho. We do have a lot of little ethnic-themed restaurants. Mexican/Italian/Indian/Greek/Brasilian/Thai
One of the previous administration’s racist claims was that if they didn’t close down the borders and build a ridiculous wall, we’d have taco trucks on every corner.
I’M STILL WAITING FOR MY TACO TRUCKS, DAMNIT!
That sounds more like a promise than a warning! Bring it on!
Yeah! If that’s a reverse campaign promise, it’s a good one?
Pfft, like a politician ever keeps a campaign promise.
I dig a good chicken schwerma. There was (is?) a store in Northborough that makes fresh middle-eastern food, and they love to spice up their schwerma. It’s pretty nice.
This lady does it up fresh every time! Over rice, topped with lettuce, and a yogurt dressing! So good!
What?
You’ve got diversity in monrovia!
I mean, you’ve got cows and bears!
I mean, you’ve got cows and bears!
Yup, we have a bunch of turkeys, too!
