We’re in the final stretch of the regular season. With 5 games to go, the Bruins will wrap up their season next Thursday. Tonight they play a final game against the Maple Leafs and next Thursday they will play at the Canadiens. Nice bookends for this part of the season.
The Bruins needed a few days of rest before taking on these final opponents. Of course, with everything all wrapped up in their role as President Trophy winners, these games mean nothing. Players who need rest will likely get it. And players who are injured will start to return.
Taylor Hall has been injured since around the trade deadline with an injury that was described as “minor” but has caused him to miss many weeks. He’s been skating for a few weeks now and practicing in a limited capacity in a red no-contact jersey. Yesterday was the first time he practiced at full capacity in a regular sweater.

Yeah, so, tonight the Bruins take on the Leafs at the Garden at 7pm on NESN.
We’re binging The Bay… 2 1/2 seasons in.,. We like it!

Nice to have some hockey watch but it’s mostly hoping no-one picks up an injury. Can we skip straight to the playoffs?!
I’m looking forward to getting some guys back up to game speed. Hall sounds like he comes back this weekend? Excellent! Not sure what happens with the other two. We can expect to see some movement on LTIR updates (something like Hall off, Forbert on) as a clue to what is going on with their roster status.
