Good morning everyone! Been a while since I’ve done some writing, so lets have some fun! Em & I were lucky enough to get the day off together, so we went down to Manchester to see Bruins Fan Fest! It was a fun little event, emphasis on the little though. It was very kid orientated, with a shootout challenge, goalie training, and lots of equipment fittings through Bruins Academy. Lots of giveaways plus a few Q&A sessions with a couple of players and management. All in all a good time, however, maybe next year the event will have a larger foot space as it was cramped. Good morning everyone. While we wait for the Stanley Cup final to begin, I’d like to share with you all a fun little conversation between Em and I last night:

“Where are you going?” – Em
“gotta get the laptop & do an MFA, cause it’s Friday, Monday, someday” – CB18
“oh God who knows what day of the week is it” – CB18
“yikes” – Em

Game 3 is Saturday, so we’ve gotta wait another night before the manic highs and lows of NHL hockey captivate us again. What’s on tap for the weekend?

It’s Memorial Cup time! After the P-Bruins picked up Zach Senyshyn and Jesse Gabrielle from their respective junior teams, the Bruins are down to one player left playing in the junior leagues: Jakub Zboril. Winners of the Presidents Cup in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, the Saint John Sea Dogs are the Q’s representative to the tournament this year.

So Bruce Cassidy is now officially the head coach of the Bruins! Yay! Yeah this news broke a couple of days ago, but I’m still happy about it.

I have a bone to pick with the NHL right now. Why did they schedule both western conference games on one night and both eastern conferences games on the next? You’ve missed a prime opportunity go back to back, but ya blew it. Good work NHL.
