The Boston Bruins (34-23-6 74pts) take on the Calgary Hamiltons Flames (26-32-4 56pts) tonight at the TD garden, their second match up of the season. Boston begins the final stretch of the season adding Lee Stempniak and John Michael Liles at the deadline. Calgary moved Kris Russel and David Jones at the deadline and acquired Jyrki Jokipakka, Brett Pollock, and Niklas Backstrom. Also Calgary parted ways with Jiri Hudler and Markus Grandlund. Calgary has lost 5 straight games and 2-7-1 in their last 10. Bruins are 6-4-0 in their last 10 and are looking to rebound from the 4-1 beating from Tampa, boy does that all sound familiar huh?

Columbus Blue Jackets vs Boston Bruins. 2/22/2016


The Boston Bruins (32-21-6, 70pts) and Columbus Blue Jackets (23-29-7, 53pts) close out their regular season meetings tonight at the TD garden. Tonight is also “First Responder Night”. Let’s hope the Bruins are the first to respond with the goals tonight. The B’s are 2-0 against the Jackets, with wins in OT & the shootout.

The Bruins need to be better at home where they are 12-14-3 after returning from a successful 4-2 road trip. Columbus has lost their last two games and have not lost three straight sense since 1/19 – 1/23.
