They forced a game 7. The Providence Bruins won last night after scoring 4 unanswered goals to come from behind to win game 6 against their ursine rivals, the Hershey Bears.

Bruins forward Patrice Bergeron and goaltender Tuukka Rask each underwent successful surgeries this week. Bergy had a sports hernia with which he played the entire season. Tuukka had a groin injury that plagued him early. While it was assumed Bergy would go under the knife, it seemed that Tuukka’s injury was downplayed at the end of the season, that perhaps some rest would do the trick. Regardless, both are expected back in time for the start of the next season.
One series is done and the other three aren’t in a hurry to wrap up. Last night, The Capitals decided that they might want to stay in the playoffs by taking game six to tie the series. Continue reading
