Bruins won in a shootout vs the Carolina Hurricanes and based on reading twitter this morning they stole that game.

If you missed last night’s game, you didn’t miss much in the first two periods. However it was the remaining 3 periods (oh, yes, there was a third, a 3-on-3 overtime, and a shootout, which I count as a period) that made it a real game. The third period alone had so much bad officiating that it could have served as it’s own game. Continue reading
Zdeno Chara and John-Michael Liles did not make the trip to Philly, which was to be expected given the unknown nature of their respective lower-body and upper-body injuries. Presumably they get to sit at home and relax. Two other injured Bruins, Frank Vatrano and Noel Acciari were put to work on Black Friday, shilling Bruins gear at the Pro Shop. Continue reading
After dropping all three games last week, the Bruins came up with a win yesterday against the Tampa Bay Lightning, 4-1. It would have been great to see Tuukka get another shutout but you can’t get much better than only allowing one goal. Continue reading
