So the post-deadline depleted Carolina Hurricanes came to Boston, and the Bruins’ struggles in their own barn continued.
Good morning, everyone! The view from the top looks nice! Alas, we lost in OT, but the point puts us at the top of the standings. Tampa Bay will likely catch us with their games in hand, but it’s nice to have a quick peek from the top!
Detroit beat Winnipeg 3-2, giving them a little bit of room on the Flyers. The Panthers quota’ed the Senators 6-2, with Jagr scoring two goals.
PK Subban suffered an accidental neck injury and was taken off the ice on a stretcher last night. Best of luck to him, and here’s hoping for a healthy return.
Tonight, Tampa Bay hosts Philly in the only game that matters to us, and tomorrow we host the Islanders. What’s on tap?
A nice dose of HINGA DINGA DURGEN, that got cancelled out by a goal scored by one of the few skaters in the league shorter than Marshy and Krug.
Dammit Ackbar, you are a fucking prophet
(this was one of the hits when I googled ‘prophetic cephalopod’, so…. yeah)
Well folks, its 1-0 Canes after the 1st on a wonky goal from Elias Lindholm. Bergy be committin’ ALL the stick penalties (He can hook my high stick any time, natch).
Admiral Ackbar is starting to write a Fetty Wap parody song for us. Prove that observant space cephalopod wrong, Bruins!
So here we are, barely a week after the trade deadline and John Michael Liles’ former team is here for a visit! Bruins have had a pretty impressive run, albeit with some ugly wins of late- but finally we’re playing a weak opponent.
In this episode we review the Bruins at the trade deadline and the wonderful win against the Chicago Blackhawks. We also challenge the coaches challenge! Listen and discover how we think the challenge should be improved! Also, Deadpool comes up a lot. Yeah, we’re nerdy.
